1. Vacancy Details ASF Jobs 2025
The positions are categorised into two main groups: Uniformed Staff and Civilian Staff.
A) Uniformed Posts
These roles require specific physical fitness standards and are subject to an age limit of 18-30 years (including the 5-year general age relaxation).

2. Age Relaxation Policy
The advertised age limit (18-30 years) already includes a general relaxation of 5 years. Further relaxation is permissible as follows:
- Retired Armed Forces Personnel: Up to 15 years or the actual number of years served, whichever is less.
- Government Servants: Up to 10 years relaxation (up to the age of 55) for those with 2 years of continuous service.
- Specific Areas & Minorities: 3 years relaxation for candidates belonging to Sindh (Rural), Balochistan, Ex-FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, AJK, and recognized minorities.
- Widows/Children of Deceased Civil Servants: 5 years relaxation for the widows, sons, or daughters of civil servants who died during service.
3. Physical & Medical Standards (For Uniformed Posts Only)
Candidates applying for ASI, Corporal, and Corporal Driver posts must meet the following physical standards:
Physical Measurements:
- For Male Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167.64 cm).
- Chest: 32½ inches to 34½ inches (with expansion).
- For Female Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches (157.48 cm).
Physical / Running Test:
After passing the initial medical examination, candidates must clear the physical test:
- Male Candidates: Run 1 Mile in a maximum of 7 minutes and 30 seconds. (Will also be tested on push-ups and sit-ups).
- Female Candidates: Run 1 Mile in a maximum of 13 minutes.
4. Test Centers
Initial physical and medical tests will be conducted at the following ASF centers:
Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Gilgit, Skardu, Chitral, Gwadar, and D.G. Khan.
5. How to Apply (Application Procedure)
The application process for ASF jobs is entirely online.
- Online Registration: Interested candidates must register online through the official ASF website:
joinasf.gov.pk. - No Hard Copies: There is no need to send hard copies of documents via post at the time of online application. However, original CNIC and educational certificates will be required at the time of tests and interviews.
- For Government Employees: Candidates already in government service must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department before applying.
- Download Test Slip: After successful registration, candidates must download their physical/medical test slip from the website, which will mention their test date and center.
- Deadline: Online applications must be submitted within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication. (Please check the website for the exact closing date).
